William Henry Bartlett
William Henry Bartlett 1800-1854, prolific painter and illustrator. After four visits to the United States, Bartlett illustrated a book, American Scenery (1840), with panoramic vistas of the American landscape with a text by Nathaniel P. Willis. During his travels, he also executed drawings of Jerusalem for a book about the Holy Land.
